I’m Ashley and I love making fun stylish clothes for little girls! I am a wife, mom, high school biology teacher and lover of all things creative.
I have always loved wearing maxi skirts because they are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down in the blink of an eye. I made my first “mini maxi” skirt for my 3 year old niece and to no surprise she loved it! I think the thing her mom loved the most was that she could put it on all by herself! From there the idea of Lucy and Doyle “mini maxi’s” began. And now we also have short cotton skirts !
Long or short these skirts are the perfect and easy outfit choice for any little girl. She’ll love that she can put it on all by herself! Whether going to school, the park, shopping with mom or on a walk with dad, she will LOVE her maxi skirt!
WHAT MAKES MY SKIRTS DIFFERENT ?
I try to be very selective about my fabric choices searching for just the look I think you and your little one will love! Because of that most of our skirts are one of a kind! You can be guaranteed that no one else will have the exact same skirt as your little one!
When designing our skirts we took into account a lot of feedback from Mom’s of little girls. One of the number one concerns was that the maxi skirt was long enough to be a true maxi. In the end we decided instead of hemming our skirts we would leave a raw edge. This allows US to make the skirts long and YOU to be able to trim them to the length your little girl wants them. All little girls come in different sizes and we want them to have the perfect maxi just for them!
WHAT IS A POPPY SKIRT?
As much as we LOVE our mini maxis, we also LOVE short skirts! Our fun cotton poppy skirts are just as fun for going to school, the park, shopping with mom or on a walk with dad as our mini maxis. These knee length skirts have an elastic waist band and lots of room to twirl.
WHAT SIZES DO YOUR SKIRTS COME IN?
All of our skirts are currently offered in sizes 2/3 and 4/5. More specifically:
Maxi Skirts (made with knit fabric so keep in mind the waist will stretch):
size 18m/24m- 19″ waist 16″ length
size 2/3- 20″ waist 19 1/2″ length
size 4/5- 21″ waist 22″ length
size 6/7- 22″ waist 24″ length
Poppy Skirts:
size nb/6m- 15.5″ waist 7 1/2″ length

DO YOU SELL ANYTHING FOR LITTLE BOYS ?
After having my first child, a little boy I decided to start working on a product just for boys. I love dressing my little guy up but it is often hard to find unique pieces for little boys. I wanted to create something unique, timeless and one of a kind. What could fit the description better then a bow tie.
We wanted our bow ties to be special. My mom and I have been collecting vintage ties for many years. Many of the ties actually belonged to my grandpa (LaVar) at one point. When I had my son I decided the perfect thing to do with them would be to make him a little bow tie. While we do sell bow ties made with fun new fabrics, a majority of our bow ties are made with vintage ties (some dating back to the 40’s)! because of this all vintage ties are one of a kind.
Our bow ties have a velcro closure and are designed in a way to fit little boys new born and older

YES! if for some reason the sizing that we have available doesn’t work for your little one please contact us and we would be happy to work with you the best we can!

At Lucy and Doyle we want you and your little one to LOVE your purchase! All sales are final but we would be happy to exchange your purchase for another available item. Please contact us and we will work with you to arrange an exchange (note that you will be charged extra shipping when exchanging an item).The only exception to this exchange only policy would be returns due to damage, defective product, or wrong item shipped. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. The items will be exchanged and/or a replacement sent. Shipping will not be charged for exchanged items as a result of damage, defective product or wrong item shipped.
Please keep in mind make each item is made by hand. Because of this, there may be slight variations and imperfections.

We accept payments made through PayPal. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay with a credit card!
Once payment is received the item will be shipped via priority mail (5-7 day shipping time). If you would like or need an item shipped sooner please message me and we are happy to work with you to make other arrangements. Note that shipping prices would possibly need to be increased.
8.10% sales tax will be added for Washington customers
